CATHLAMET, Wash. - The Monthly Medley of Music concert series at the Pioneer Church debuts Saturday with Con Amici String Quartet, featuring local performers Andrew Emlen, David Lee Myers, Kristina Birchler and Jeffrey Reynolds. The program includes Beethoven's Quartet No. 1, Haydn's Lark Quartet and shorter works by romantic and modern composers.

Tickets are available in advance for $12 at Mary's Flower Shop in Cathlamet. A package of five tickets for the entire series is $50, a savings of 20 percent over the single ticket price. Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturdays and include an intermission with desserts available. Upcoming performers include the Astoria Tuba Quartet June 10, Keys and Wind trumpet, flute and piano ensemble July 8, the Northwest Sax Quartet Plus One Aug. 12 and Willapa Hills (formerly Foggy Bottom) Sept. 16.
