Next week, the contractor for the city of Astoria's Combined Sewer Overflow Phase 2/22nd to 35th Streets Combined Sewer Separation Project will be continuing work from the north end of 35th Street and proceeding up to the Franklin Avenue intersection. Crews will also be working on Irving Avenue from 22nd Street eastward. Drivers should expect intermittent delays.

The contractor for the city of Astoria's CSO Phase 2 - Sixth Street Combined Sewer Separation Project will be continuing work at Seventh and Bond streets next week, moving south toward Commercial Street. Detours have been set up. Bond Street between Fourth and Fifth streets will continue to be impacted because of equipment, materials and cleanup work.

Drivers should expect single lane traffic and possible intermittent delays. The general public is asked to avoid this area, although residents in the local area will have access.

Clatsop County Public Works will be adding rock to the Svensen end of Hillcrest Loop next week. Motorists are urged to drive slowly to avoid rock chips and dust on adjoining properties. Through traffic is asked to use the alternate route of Conroy Road and Old Highway 30.

On Hillcrest Loop, between Forest Court Lane and Koppisch Road, the utility company will continue moving poles and transferring lines to the new poles to help road construction. Minor delays and one-lane closures are possible.

The intersection of Lewis and Clark and Wahanna roads will have intermittent one-lane traffic and minor delays. Motorists are advised to utilize 12th Avenue for continued access to and from Lewis and Clark and Wahanna roads.

Other work for the week includes herbicide spraying road shoulders in the Hamlet and Jewell areas and mowing road shoulders in the Olney area.
