The Clatsop County Public Works Department will be cleaning ditches on Walluski Loop, causing temporary traffic delays next week through Aug. 19.

Other work includes lane-striping on Lewis and Clark Road, removing brush and asphalt patching on Little Walluski Lane, asphalt patching on Hamlet Road, and chopping in the Elsie vicinity with no traffic delays anticipated.

Logan Road will have intermittent delays while Clatsop County's contractor, Big River Excavation, continues falling trees, cutting ditches and the new roadbed, and placing rock in the widened areas. Motorists should use Lewis and Clark Road as a detour.

Motorists are asked to use extra caution on Cottage Road, Gearhart Lane, Hillila Lane and Conroy Road as there may be loose rock in the roadway because of preparations being made for paving.
