She's all grown up! ROBERT "SANDY" NOYES sent in an updated photo of the "APPALOOSA" DOE the Ear first mentioned in this column last November. She's still hanging around in Astoria with another young deer - a sibling, perhaps?

"These deer are in the area quite often," Sandy wrote. "Now I see her in the mornings and in the evenings. Today they were grazing on a neighbor's spring blooms when I came home at around 1:15 p.m." Pictured above left, the doe last spring. Pictured right, the doe as she looks now.

"When I first saw her," Sandy said, "I thought someone's goat was loose in the woods across the street from me." For some reason, that really cracked the Ear up.
