Norma Hernandez sent in this toothsome nugget: "Over the course of two days, 25 people received emergency dental care in the Medical Teams International van, pictured above, at the Warrenton Head Start. The Lower Columbia Hispanic Council partnered with Seaside Providence Foundation and with MTI to extend by 2 days the 3-day quarterly visits the dental van makes to the North Coast.
"Dr. Charles Padbury, his assistant Terry ERICKSON, and Suzette Wallace came from Portland and worked nonstop for six hours each day March 5 and 6 to treat these patients. The van is staffed by all volunteers who were provided with rooms and food courtesy of Holiday Inn Express of Astoria, Uniontown Fish Market/Deli & Catering and Doogers Seafood and Grill. The Lower Columbia Hispanic Council and Seaside Providence Foundation thank all who participated to bring this much-needed service to the North Coast."
