Under contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Great Lakes Dredge and Dock's hopper dredge, Sugar Island, will begin dredging the mouth of the Columbia River at 12:01 a.m., Wednesday.
Fisherman should be aware that dredge materials will be disposed of in the Expanded Site E near Buoy 7 beginning Wednesday. Crab pots should be removed from the Expanded Site E and transit lanes during dredge operations.
