Public schools educators in Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook and Washington counties are eligible to apply for grants between $100 and $1,000 from the Northwest Regional Education (ESD) Service District Foundation.

The application process runs through Oct. 4. Awards will be announced Friday, Nov. 15. Additional information and the online application can be found at www.nwresdfoundation.org

Grants will be awarded for projects that directly impact young children and students in the following areas:

• Early Intervention/Early Childhood;

• School age special education;

• At-risk youth;

• Northwest Outdoor Science School (NOSS); and

• Professional/Technical/Vocational programs.

The ESD Foundation provides financial assistance to its public school programs and component districts serving young children and students with special needs and those who are at-risk in Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook and Washington counties.
