The City of Seaside and the Seaside Tsunami Advisory Group (TAG) are sponsoring a Spring Emergency Preparedness Fair on April 20.


All Clatsop County residents, visitors and businesses are invited to attend. According to a press release, the event is an opportunity to learn about emergency preparedness and coastal tsunami hazards.


Highlights include games and activities for kids; emergency preparedness discussions; tsunami hazard presentation; information and displays.


All businesses and organizations in Clatsop County are invited to provide information at the fair about how they can be of service before, during or after a disaster. No product sales are allowed. Samples or items may be given away.

The fair will be held on Monday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 6: p.m. at the Seaside Civic and Convention Center, 415 1st Ave.
