WARRENTON - The Spring Social for Exploring New Concepts Of Retirement Education will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Warrenton Community Center, 170 S.W. Third St. in Warrenton. Refreshments will be served.

The guest speaker will be Ken Henry, assistant professor of rhetoric and homiletics at Northwest Christian College in Eugene. His topic will be "Throw Out the Bowlines." He will examine challenges and choices, and when to follow the heart, utilizing the thoughts of Mark Twain, Yogi Berra, biblical wisdom and current research in risk-taking.

Members and guests are welcome. Membership applications will be available for anyone who would like to join ENCORE.
