Jose and Betty Valero of Astoria announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Baca-Valero of Astoria, to Brandon Knox of Astoria. He is the son of Gary and Janine Knox of Florida and Keith and Debbie Warren of Astoria.
The bride-to-be is a student at Clatsop Community College.
The groom-to-be works as a fisherman.
A July 6 wedding is planned.
