The Clatsop chapter of the Oregon Small Woodlands Association hosts a presentation on "Control of Himalayan and Evergreen Blackberry with Herbicides" by Bruce Kelpsas from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Oregon Department of Forestry Office, 92219 Oregon Highway 202.

Kelpsas is a forest vegetation management specialist with UAP Timberlands and an expert on controlling competing vegetation with herbicides. In addition to his talk on blackberries, Kelpsas will also answer other questions about problem weeds in forestry applications.
