David Oser was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Clatsop Community College Foundation for a three-year term, and will serve on the foundations investment committee. He joined Craft3 as chief financial officer and senior vice president in March 2011.
He has more than 30 years of financial experience in economic development banking and is an expert in management of fixed-income securities, risk and treasury functions. Prior to joining Craft3, Oser was executive vice president, chief investment officer and treasurer of ShoreBank and a member of the banks executive management team. In addition to serving on the foundation board, Oser is a member of the Astoria Public Library Advisory Board.
Oser received his bachelor of arts from Carleton College in Northfield, Minn., a masters from the University of Chicago and completed the banking and financial services executive program at the University of Michigans Graduate School of Business Administration.
The CCC board is composed of 15 community leaders whose mission is to generate funds, maximize investment opportunities and expand resources to support higher education in Clatsop County.
The foundations recent Arts & Experience Dinner and Auction generated more than $73,000 in net revenue to support the college and its students.
