ARCH CAPE - Fire Mountain School in Arch Cape will hold its annual Raffle Party, silent auction and fundraiser Saturday at the Sea Shack on the waterfront in Wheeler. This venue is for those age 21 and older. The doors will open at 6 p.m., the drawing will take place at 9:30 p.m.

The featured musicians include Crog & the Chandeliers, Heather Christie and special guests, The Cedar Shakes, The Dead Ends, and Ghanta Vajara. More dancing, with a DJ provided by the Sea Shack, will start at 10 p.m.

The number of raffle tickets available for sale has been reduced to 400. The grand prize for the raffle is a trip to the destination of one's choice worth $4,250. Other prizes are a $250 gift certificate to Breitenbush Hot Springs and a $100 gift certificate to Bread and Ocean in Manzanita. Ticket holders do not have to be present to win.

Tickets are $40 each or 3 for $100 and each ticket includes admission for two to the party. Without a raffle ticket, the entry fee is $10 per person. 

Raffle tickets are available at Mother Nature's in Manzanita, Beach Books in Seaside, Jupiter's Books in Cannon Beach, Fire Mountain School or from any Fire Mountain parent. The cost of a raffle ticket does not qualify as a charitable tax deduction.

All proceeds benefit the Fire Mountain School, a small, independent elementary school serving children from Clatsop and Tillamook counties for the past 27 years.
