Seaside volunteer firefighter Dave Oxley, pictured at left, above, was awarded both the Officer of the Year and the Emergency Medical Services Provider of the Year award at a recent banquet. Presenting the honors was Doug Barker, pictured at right, above, who received a 30-year pin for his service with the department.

Jeramy Houston, pictured right, also a Seaside volunteer firefighter, was honored as Firefighter of the Year.

Colin Houston re-ceived a certificate for responding to the most calls, and Mark Burke received a certificate for attending the most drills. David Wiggins, Rich Nofield and Kevin Forster received their five-year service pins. Also receiving pins were Don Beck, 15 years, and Juan Campos, 10 years.
