WARRENTON - The Astoria chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Friends of Fort Stevens will conduct a flag retirement ceremony for old, worn and tattered American Flags on Veterans' Day 1 p.m. Monday at the historical area of Fort Stevens.

People wishing to have their flags properly retired are encouraged to drop them in the box in the lobby of the "B" entrance of the North Coast Fred Meyer store or at the Seaside Historical Society. People may also bring a flag to Fort Stevens on Veterans' Day.
