TILLAMOOK - Northwest Natural Resources Group's (NNRG) Northwest Certified Forestry program will host a full day workshop titled 'Diversifying Income Opportunities on Small Woodlands,' at Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.

This one-day workshop will introduce landowners to a series of strategies and tools for maximizing the economic potential of conservation-based forest management. Speakers from organizations and agencies in the Northwest that specialize in small woodland management will provide thorough overviews of each strategy.

Speakers will include representatives from NNRG, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service, North Coast Land Conservancy, and other small landowners who will share their perspectives.

Space is limited so register as soon as possible. A registration fee of $25 will include a light breakfast and brown bag lunch.
