Francis "Frank" Roy White , 63, of Warrenton, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005 in Astoria.

Mr. White was born May 6, 1942, in Waltham, Mass., to Francis Carl White and Mildred Viola LeBlanc.

Mr. White was raised in Boston, Mass., where he graduated from high school. He worked as a shoe store manager and sales representative to other stores. He retired in 1995, and moved from San Diego, Calif. to Warrenton in 2003.

Family members said he brought unconditional joy and laughter to those whose life he touched and he loved to help people in need.

He is survived by two sisters and one brother-in-law, Joan and Chuck Bean of Warrenton, and Judith White of southern California; a brother, Ronald White of Astoria; three nieces, Denise Shackelford of Yuba City, Calif., Jackie Mardesich of Long Beach, Calif., and Paul Harper of Eureka, Calif.; a nephew, Edward Simon of Las Vegas, Nev., and a great-niece, Kathryn Badgerow of Warrenton.

Private family services will be held.

Caldwell's Luce-Layton Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
