Seaside - CEDR (Clatsop Economic Development Resources) is offering the second in the "Business 101" series of free seminars on Wednesday, March 11, from 8 to 11:30 am at the Seaside Civic and Convention Center, 415 1st Ave. Robert Sherk, a consultant with a twenty year background in marketing Fortune 500 companies will present "Marketing through The Hard Times."

Director of CEDR, Rick Gardner noted, "This is a very meaty seminar. You will learn why your definition of marketing could be out of date in today's hyper-competitive business environment. Bob Sherk will cover Trends in Marketing, The Customer Experience, Managing the Eight Stages of Customer Interaction and Lessons From Market Leaders and other points."

Presented in coordination with The Seaside Chamber of Commerce, Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce, Col-Pac and the Small Business Development Center of Clatsop Community College, Sherk draws from experience gained in his successful transition from corporate executive to consultant, instructor and mentor to small business owners in Oregon.
