A “Get a Grasp on Medicare” class will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thurday at the Columbia Memorial Hospital Community Education Center (Duncan Law Seafood Consumer Center), 2021 Marine Drive. There is no cost for the class, but registration is required.

This class is designed for people who are new to Medicare, or who are struggling to understand their Medicare benefits. The class will explain what Medicare offers, options for additional coverage, when decisions need to be made, and where to go for additional assistance.

The class is sponsored by NW Senior and Disability Services, the Senior Health Insurance Beneficiary Assistance Program and Columbia Memorial Hospital.
