A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter crew from San Francisco fit in some sightseeing while giving free flyovers to local and state VIPs touring storm damage on the Oregon Coast.
What were they hoping to see? The "Goonies house," a.k.a. "Mouth's house," shown in this aerial photo.
As the HH-65 Dolphin crew flew over town, Tom Freel of KAST guided the crew to the right area in the east end of Astoria, and Kara Hansen, reporter for The Daily Astorian, pointed out the house and took this photo.
They headed back home after helping meet the demand for volunteer flights out of Air Station Astoria.
