Cannon Beach - Have you been too busy to update your voter registration? Or to register for the first time?

Have you moved recently or changed your name? Will you be away at school or traveling during the last half of October?

Citizens who answer "yes" on any count are welcome to visit the all-day voter registration table 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday in Sandpiper Square, across from the post office in downtown Cannon Beach.

Forms will be available for registering, updating your registration information and obtaining an absentee ballot.

Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and expedite delivery of completed forms to the county elections office in Astoria.

This voter drive is part of a bipartisan "Citizens Vote" project chaired by Cannon Beach residents Marsha Kravet (Democrat) and Don Miller (Republican). For information, call (503) 436-0598.
