The Clatsop County Board of Commissioners is looking for board members for two different agencies that provide housing to low-income people.

There are two vacancies on the Clatsop County Housing Authority board. Both are for four-year terms ending December 2008. The Clatsop County Housing Authority analyzes housing needs of low-income residents in the county, develops plans and implements programs and projects to meet those needs. The group usually meets once a month.

The Northwest Oregon Housing Authority has a seat open for a term ending June 2008. This group owns and manages housing for low- and moderate-income people and administers various federal housing assistance programs in Clatsop, Columbia and Tillamook counties. It usually meets once a month. The meeting location is rotated among the counties.
