LAS VEGAS - Veteran radio broadcaster Jim Servino has been named vice president of the Radio Division of Business Inc. He will be based at the company-owned KNUU in Las Vegas, where he also will serve as the station's general manager.

Servino previously was vice president of regional sales for New Northwest Broadcasters' seven-station cluster in Astoria, and was market manager of the stations for several years. He also served as general manager and part-owner of KAST-AM & FM for 14 years prior to that.

Servino has served on the board of United Way and as president of the Astoria Rotary Club. He received the prestigious "George Award" from the Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce for his outstanding community service.
