The Lanai at the Cove in Seaside recently invested $600,000 on improvement projects. Located at 3140 Sunset Boulevard, the complex has 25 independent owners governed by a homeowners' association.


Tony McCuller, a board member for the homeowners' association, said renovations include a new roof, siding, energy-efficient windows, signage and flood lights for ocean viewing. Over the past two years, the respective owners have remodeled all pool-side units as well. The general contractor for the project was Taggart CA Building Contractor of Astoria.


The Lanai was closed from Feb. 11 until July 3 of this year for the remodel. A grand re-opening will be held February next year.
