A giant $300 check from the TLC Federal Credit Union is being donated to the Law Enforcement for Youth to help defray expenses for the annual Seaside Pig Bowl. Public safety personnel throughout Clatsop County, as well as members of the local U.S. Coast Guard, have formed the Seaside Storm. The football team plays the Valley Law Dogs from Marion County twice a year, once in Seaside and again in Salem. Proceeds from the games — as well as $50 from each player on the team — go to scholarships for youth who need help paying to participate in sports programs.
