Rain Magazine, Clatsop Community College's Arts and Letters publication, is accepting submissions of literature or artwork. Rain welcomes submissions from everyone living in the lower Columbia area, both students and nonstudents.

Poetry should be typed, single spaced. Submit no more than five poems. Fiction or prose should be typed, double spaced and be no more than 15 pages. Artwork should be black and white with a vertical format, no bigger than 17 inches in either direction. Some colored pieces might work. Call first to clarify.

Do not send originals. Send only copies. Be sure to put your name, address and phone number on everything you submit. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your materials. Please, no electronic submissions. Deadline for submission is Jan. 6. Submissions sent with a stamped, self-addressed envelope will be returned by the end of March.

The magazine will be released in early May, with a reception honoring all included writers and artists.
