Tillamook - The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resource Conservation Service is accepting applications for financial assistance with conservation projects on farms and forestland in Clatsop, Columbia and Tillamook counties.

The assistance comes as a share of the cost for projects like livestock fencing, waste storage facilities, improving livestock walkways, installing roof gutters, culverts and tide gates, stream crossing improvements, shrub and tree planting, erosion control and wetland enhancement. The NRCS Environmental Quality Incentive Program will pay 50 percent of most approved project costs.
