Astoria Kentucky Fried Chicken General Manager Susan Ozimek wants people to know that her restaurant branch is not owned by Graja Inc., which recently had a lawsuit filed against it by a manager who claims he was fired from the Seaside location for refusing to sell rotten meat and threatening to contact Oregon health officials.

“I have no ill feelings towards the Seaside store,” said Ozimek, adding that she’s never received bad product from the Seaside location during previous exchanges. “We are a different company, though.”

Her KFC location is owned by S & H Inc., based in Klamath Falls. Ozimek said she’s had at least five or six people per day asking about the issues related to the Seaside location, but her store is slowly gaining its business back.
