Memorial Hospital continues to bring health care close to home. During the first half of 2013, CMH Medical Group expanded its services to include the CMH Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) & Cosmetics Clinic, the CMH Endocrinology Clinic and the CMH Pulmonology Clinic.
Dr. Christopher Nyte joined the CMH team at the end of February, and sees patients at CMHs new ENT & Cosmetics clinic. His services include general ear, nose and throat care, such as ear tubes, tonsils, sleep issues and nasal/sinus surgery and cosmetic surgery.
Nyte has operated a successful practice in Maple Valley, Wash., since 2005, and was voted by KING 5 viewers as one the top five plastic surgeons in the Seattle area three years in a row. He attended medical school at A.T. Still University in Missouri. He did his residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Missouri, and fellowships at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Anna Marina is board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She sees patients in CMHs new Endocrinology Clinic, located in the Park Medical Building.
She was born and raised in Russia, and comes from a family of physicians. She completed medical school at Voronezh State Medical Academy in Voronezh, Russia. She did an internship at Voronezh State Medical Academy, and an internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Mercy. She completed a fellowship in endocrinology at the University of Washington.
Marina is particularly interested in thyroid disease, osteoporosis, diabetes management, and adrenal, pituitary and gonadal disorders. Before coming to CMH she was a staff endocrinologist at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.
Dr. Michael Lewis is board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease. He sees patients in the new CMH Pulmonology Clinic. His medical interests include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, occupational lung disease, asbestosis, lung cancer and interstitial lung disease.
He attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia and did his residency at Good Samaritan Hospital and Medical Center in Portland, and a fellowship at the University of Utah Medical Center.
Previously, Lewis was a flight surgeon for the Oregon Air National Guard, a medical director with Legacy Portland Hospitals, a medical instructor and a private practitioner. He has been a member of the CMH Professional Staff since 2005, and traveled to see patients in Astoria about once a month. He is in the process of moving his practice to CMH half-time.
