A high wind warning has been issued for the North Coast Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Winds to the south will range from 30 mph to 40 mph with gusts of 60 mph from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. It will mostly affect beaches and headlands.

Winds may blow down trees, branches and power lines. Small power outages are possible, and driving may be difficult.
