Detectives in Washington County have searched for a stolen 1931 Ford Model A for nearly a month and are now reaching out to the public for help after exhausting investigative leads.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Property Crime Detectives are searching for the car and people responsible for stealing it.

The Model A rumble-seat coupe was reported stolen July 15 in the community of Laurel, just south of Hillsboro. The car was parked in the owner’s driveway in the 19400 block of S.W. McCormick Hill Rd. Investigators are not sure whether the vehicle was towed or driven when it was stolen.

After following up on available leads, detectives are hoping the public can help find the mostly original car. It has a light brown exterior with original black wheels and fenders.

Anyone who has information about the location of the vehicle or the ongoing criminal investigation, are asked to call the Sheriff’s Office Detectives at 503-846-2500.
