Jones-Centeno hired as Liberty’s artistic director

Bereniece Jones-Centeno, the former interim managing director of the Astoria Music Festival, has been named the Liberty Theater’s new artistic director.

Jones-Centeno, who was hired after the theater conducted a two-month search, will handle programming for the Liberty while developing educational programs for area youth at the venue.
