Endangering Highway Worker

At about 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Oregon State Police cited Albert P. Marchand, 65, of Seaview, Wash., for reckless endangering of a highway worker after a witness reported Marchand’s red Ford F15 pickup truck almost hit a flagger on the Astoria Bridge construction project. Astoria Police were able to stop Marchand and interview the flagger. After speaking with a state trooper, Marchand was cited and released.
