GLENEDEN BEACH — The Oregon Employer Council will present its annual state conference for business April 4 and 5 at Salishan. The two-day educational event is open to all employers and offers continuing education credits for human resource professionals and business owners/managers.

Topics to be covered include: jobs and Oregon’s economic recovery, record-keeping and payroll, training for new supervisors, employment law update, giving and receiving feedback, health care reform, independent contractors, effective work teams, generations in the workplace, immigration and much more.

A discount is offered if registered by March 4 and employers may visit www.oec.org for all of the conference information, including registration forms.

A registration fee of $279 includes all education and workbooks, general session speakers, a dinner/dance, five meals, registration materials, exhibits and networking opportunities.
