FOREST GROVE — The Seaside boys basketball team will play for the state championship.

The Gulls outgunned North Bend in a 67-55 victory this afternoon in the 4A semifinals.

Seaside led after every quarter but needed clutch free throws to close out the game against the Bulldogs. Jackson Januik was the leading scorer for the Gulls with 16 points.

Seaside will face Valley Catholic for the state title on Saturday night. The Valiants beat Tillamook 67-52 this evening in the other semifinal.
