WARRENTON — Screams filled the KOA campground’s activities center over the weekend as families from all over Oregon lined up to go through the Ghouls in the Mist haunted house.

More than a dozen volunteers, decked out in their scariest attire, and maybe a few ghosts, helped put on the event.

The haunted house will continue 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets are $3 per person or three cans of food. Proceeds benefit the Clatsop County Food Bank and KOA Care Camps, which offer children with cancer a chance to get away.

Other KOA events happening Halloween night include costume contests, trick or treating and pumpkin carving.
