Jeffrey Michael Stark, 29, of Warrenton died Tuesday when a pickup truck he was working on at a logging operation rolled over him, the Clatsop County Sheriff's Office said.

The accident occurred at an active logging operation by F & B Logging near Milepost 2.5 on the Palmer Mainline logging road, located off Labiske Road near Oregon Highway 202. Stark was working on the starter on the pickup, which was used as a "crummy" to transport crew.

Co-workers, who found Stark at 9:58 a.m. ,used a loader and chokers to remove the vehicle. Stark was already dead.

Medix Ambulance Service and the Clatsop County medical examiner responded. The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries is investigating the industrial accident.

Stark was married with four children.
