KNAPPA - Knappa picked up a pair of victories in a junior league softball doubleheader Friday against visiting Warrenton.
The Loggers racked up a combined 26 hits in the 8-6, 15-9 sweep.
Jenni Smith topped all hitters with a 4-for-5 effort at the plate, which included a triple and two doubles. Jilly Ragnone also went 4-for-5, while Katie Ho blasted a home run in Game 2.
Smith got the win on the mound in the opener, while Nadra Evans - an incoming freshman - got the victory in the second game.
Evans struck out seven batters and went 2-for-3 at the plate. The Loggers rapped out 17 hits in Game 2.
