WESTPORT, Wash. - The U.S. Coast Guard rescued a 30-year-old man from a charter boat in Westport after he apparently overdosed on seasickness pills.

The Coast Guard received a call at 9:40 Thursday morning that Benjamin Winklema, address unknown, was unconscious on the Northern Star.

Although he regained consciousness during the call, station Grays Harbor sent a 47-foot motor lifeboat out to the boat's location, seven miles out of Westport. Rescuers took Winklema off the charter boat and transferred him to waiting EMS.

The Northern Star is homeported in Westport.
