The Astoria Children's Museum is now collecting clean, working and usable items for its annual Whale of a Sale June 9.

From children's clothing to books, electronics to toys and more, the museum relies on this annual sale to help fund the fun and educational activities all year at the museum.

To donate items for the sale, bring them to the Uppertown Firefighters Museum at 2968 Marine Drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

All proceeds from June's Whale of a Sale will go directly to the programs and operation of the Astoria Children's Museum.
