A Vancouver, Wash., couple who got lost while picking mushrooms Friday spent a cold night in the woods before the Clatsop County Search and Rescue team located them at 8:45 a.m. Saturday morning.

Thy Lim, 60, and Seng Lim, 49, were cold and hungry but in otherwise good condition. They were not dressed to spend the night in the woods, and a small fire had been their only source of heat during the night.

The Lims had been mushroom picking near the north fork of Wolf Creek Road, off U.S. Highway 26 near Milepost 35. Friends and family reported them missing just before midnight Friday when they failed to return to a meeting spot.
