The Oregon Department Transportation will hold public meetings during the next month to update residents of Seaside and Cannon Beach about highway projects in their cities.

On March 19 ODOT will ask residents of Seaside for comments on the proposed reconstruction of U.S. Highway 101 in Seaside. ODOT will specifically be asking for input on the southern portion of the project. The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in the library of Seaside High School, 1901 N. Holladay St.

On April 16 ODOT will host a public meeting to update Cannon Beach residents on the modernization of the U.S. 101-North Cannon Beach Interchange and other future projects in the Cannon Beach area. The meeting will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce, 207 N. Spruce St.

People who may need help, including sign language interpreters, at the meeting should call the ODOT Area office in Astoria at 325-7222 at least 24 hours in advance of the meetings.
