At 12:20 a.m. Thursday, Oregon State Police stopped a 1997 White Dodge on Highway 30 near Tongue Point for failing to signal and for an inoperable license plate light. Officers discovered the vehicle's driver, David Michael Everett, 51, of Astoria, was under the influence of intoxicants. Everett had a recorded blood alcohol content of .21 percent. He also had an open container. Everett was arrested for DUII and open container and taken to the Clatsop County Jail.
At midnight Sunday, Astoria Police stopped Casey Jaye Brewe, 24, at the 1100 block of West Marine Drive. Brewe was arrested for DUII and refusing to take a breath test. Brewe was booked into the Clatsop County Jail.
Disorderly conduct arrest
Just before 7 p.m. Sunday, Astoria Police responded to a call at Tongue Point Job Corps for an out of control subject. Nicholas William Fischer, 18, was arrested for two counts of first-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal mischief and harassment. He was taken to the Clatsop County Jail.
At 9:24 p.m. Friday, in the 300 block of Elk Creek Road, Cannon Beach police arrested Wendy G. Phillips, 30, on charges of domestic assault and disorderly conduct. She was taken to Clatsop County Jail, and the case was sent to the district attorney.
