DUII arrests• At 4:40 p.m. Monday, Astoria police responded to a report of an intoxicated man on a bicycle holding up traffic on the Youngs Bay Bridge. Roy Wayne Higginbotham, 44, of 925 Fourth Avenue, Seaside, was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and disorderly conduct. He was cited and released at Clatsop County Jail.

• At 1:05 a.m. today, Astoria police arrested Joshua Corey Eastman, 23, of Hillsboro, for DUII on West Marine Drive at Hume Street. His vehicle was towed and he was lodged at Clatsop County Jail.

• At 2:28 a.m. today, Astoria police arrested Joseph Howard Olden, 59, of Portland, for DUII in the 400 block of Marine Drive. He was cited and released at Clatsop County Jail.

Criminal trespass• At 10:07 a.m. Monday, a citizen reported that two people were trespassing in her father's home in the 92000 block of John Day River Road. A Clatsop County Sheriff's deputy arrrested Malcom Ray Taylor, 47, of Wolf Creek, and Debra Marie Taylor, 48, address unknown, for first-degree criminal trespass. They were cited and released at Clatsop County Jail.

Drug arrest• At 10:18 p.m. Monday, Warrenton police stopped Darrin Paul Nichols, 40, of Astoria, for running a stop sign on Pacific Drive at Lake Street in Warrenton. During the course of the arrest, police allegedly found methamphetamine and a scale on Nichols' person and discovered he was also wanted for harassment and disorderly conduct involving a disturbance at a relative's residence on Fourth Street. Nichols was lodged at Clatsop County Jail on charges of possession, manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, harassment, and strangulation.

Assault• At 2:31 p.m. Wednesday, Cannon Beach police arrested Mark William Long, 44, of 201 Pacific St., for fourth-degree assault and interference with making a police report.

Criminal mischief• At an unknown time Thursday, Cannon Beach police reported a vehicle parked in the gravel area on the Elk Creek Road was vandalized and a CD player and CDs were stolen.

• At 11:30 p.m. Monday, Seaside police reported two cars parked at 1360 No. 5 S. Downing St. had tires punctured, possibly with a knife

Sex crime• At 1:53 p.m. Friday, a sex crime was reported to Seaside police. No further details were available.
