Thefts• At 1:09 p.m. Friday, a Qwest employee reported someone entered his company van in the 400 block of Industry Way and took test equipment and a tool bag estimated to be worth several thousand dollars. Astoria police are investigating.
• At 2:14 a.m. Saturday, Seaside police recovered a stolen car belonging to a Salem woman at Avenue K and South Prom in Seaside. Identification had been stolen from the car.
DUII arrests• At 5:28 p.m. Saturday, Astoria police arrested Dick Wilhard Gustafson, 53, of 884 Fifth St., Astoria, for driving under the influence of intoxicants on the Astoria Bridge and took him to Clatsop County Jail, where he was cited and released.
• At 9:19 p.m. Saturday, Astoria police arrested Kathrine Louise Storey, 48, of Seattle, for DUII and reckless endangering on Marine Drive near Seventh Street. She was lodged at Clatsop County Jail.
• At 10:02 p.m. Saturday, Warrenton Police arrested Jacqueline Lynn Kreitzer, 36, of 306 Northeast Skipanon Drive, Warrenton, for DUII on Skipanon Drive and took here to Clatsop County Jail, where she was cited and released.
• At 7:13 p.m. Sunday, a Clatsop County Sheriff's deputy arrested David Jeremy Miller, 27, of 88610 Lewis & Clark Road, Astoria, for DUII and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on Lewis & Clark Road in Seaside. He was cited and released at Clatsop County Jail.
Disturbance• At 11:40 p.m. Friday, Warrenton police arrested Gary Hatler, 31, of Warrenton, for second-degree assault and disorderly conduct and lodged him at Clatsop County Jail. Hatler allegedly was involved in a fight at the Spruce Tavern in Warrenton that resulted in injuries.
Fires• At 5:08 p.m. Saturday, the Elsie Vinemaple Fire Department responded to a roof fire in the 82000 block of Maple Road.
• At 3:34 p.m. Sunday, the Knappa Fire Department responded to a barn fire in the 95000 block of Aldrich Point Road.
