DUII arrests At 8:20 p.m. Friday, Oregon State Police arrested Mark Damon Shetters, 36, of Clackamas, for driving under the influence of intoxicants on U.S. Highway 101 at milepost 10 in Warrenton, after witnesses reported he had been driving erratically. Shetters, who had been released from Clackamas County Jail that same morning on alcohol-related charges, had a blood alcohol level of 0.19 percent, OSP reported. He was lodged at Clatsop County Jail on DUII and for violating his parole. His car was towed and impounded.
At 8 p.m. Saturday, OSP arrested James L. Osmus, 58, of Hungry Hollow Loop, Westport, for DUII on U.S.Highway 30 in Westport after stopping his vehicle for a traffic violation. He was cited and released.
At 12:43 p.m. Sunday, OSP arrested Jack H. Berglund, 60, of Kelso, Wash., for DUII on U.S. Highway 30 at milepost 95. He was cited and released.
Disturbance At 12:04 a.m. today, a woman at a residence in the 100 block of Southwest Birch Avenue reported a disturbance. Warrenton police arrested her neighbor, Devin Mitchell Russell, 21, for menacing, burglary, first-degree animal abuse and interfering with a police report and lodged him at Clatsop County Jail.
Vandalism At 12 p.m. Sunday, Gearhart police reported nine pro-Highway 101 improvement signs were dumped near South Wellington Avenue.
