Fraud• At 10:29 a.m. Wednesday Seaside police reported an unknown person passed a counterfeit $50 bill at the Pig N' Pancake at 323 Broadway in Seaside.

Vandalism• At 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, a resident of the 300 block of McClure Avenue reported to Astoria police that someone spray-painted his boat overnight, doing $50 in damage.

• At 12:41 p.m. Wednesday, a resident a block away reported someone spray-painted a black stripe on his white car. He estimated damage at $250.

Burglary• At 7:36 a.m. Wednesday, CE Wadsworth Electric, 1715 Exchange St., reported an overnight break-in at their yard to Astoria police. The fence was damaged and more than $400 worth of material was taken.

Thefts from cars• At 9:37 a.m. Wednesday, Seaside police reported prescription medicine stolen from an unsecured vehicle at 1165 Avenue A in Seaside.

• At 2:31 a.m. Thursday, Seaside police reported a resident at 3355 Bayview Terrace scared off a prowler who had opened the window of a vehicle parked at the house.
