Assault arrest? At 12:24 p.m. Thursday, a Clatsop County Sheriff's deputy responded to a disturbance on the 35100 block of Old Bridge Lane in the Jeffers Gardens area, where two men were seen having an argument. One man jumped back in his vehicle and headed across the Lewis & Clark bridge toward Warrenton. The other man told the deputy he had been threatened with a knife by somebody named Glenn. Glenn Harold Brisendine Jr., 33, of Astoria, was subsequently arrested for first-degree assault, fourth-degree assault and menacing and lodged at the county jail.

DUII arrest? At 7:13 p.m. Thursday, Warrenton police arrested Darlynn Michelle Griffin, 44, address unavailable, for driving under the influence of intoxicants on Southeast Neptune Avenue.

? At 1:27 a.m. Thursday, Seaside police arrested Nathan W. McCargish, 28, of Seaside, on charges of DUII, failure to drive within lane, unlawful or unsignaled turn and violation of open container. He was booked and released to a sober, responsible party. The arrest occurred at the baseball fields on South Wahanna Road.

Vandalism? At 8:49 a.m. Thursday, a business at 655 W. Marine Drive told Astoria police their front window had been broken.
