Vandalism? At 3:12 p.m. Friday, Astoria police got a report that a window had been broken out overnight on the driver's side of a vehicle parked at 14th Street and Niagara Avenue.

DUII arrests? At 10:05 p.m. Friday, Astoria police arrested Robert Edward Chappelle, 36, of 1475 Irving Ave., Astoria, for driving under the influence of intoxicants on Commercial Street at Eighth Street.
