DUII arrests• At 12:07 a.m. Saturday, Seaside police arrested Charles S. Owen, 36, of 89740 Highway 101 in Warrenton for driving under the influence of intoxicants at Avenue E and South Holladay Drive in Seaside.

• At 4:43 p.m. Sunday, Seaside police arrested Christopher Jon Brown, 35, of 838 Fifth St. in Hammond for DUII at 150 S. Wahanna Road in Seaside.

• At 9:48 p.m. Friday, Oregon State Police arrested Reese A. Kauppi, 16, of 92785 Claremont Road, Astoria, at Sixth and Bond streets for DUII and underage drinking after he stopped his his pickup truck in the roadway illegally. A 16-year-old male passenger from Astoria was also cited for underage drinking. Kauppi's blood alcohol level tested at 0.15 percent, OSP reported. The vehicle was towed, and the boys were released to a relative.

• At 9:51 p.m. Friday, Astoria police arrested Peggy Suzanne Timmings, 47, of Portland for DUII on West Marine Drive near the Dunes Motel and took her to Clatsop County Jail.

• At 12:15 a.m. Saturday, a Clatsop County Sheriff's deputy arrested Case Alan Redmond, 23, address unknown for DUII on U.S. Highway 101 at milepost 9 in Warrenton and took him to Clatsop County Jail.

• At 9 p.m. Saturday, OSP arrested Jan Lynell Kammer, 47, of Gresham for DUII on U.S. Highway 30 at milepost 87 in the Svensen area. Her blood alcohol level tested at 0.12 percent, OSP reported. She was cited at Clatsop County Jail and released.

Theft• At 5:30 a.m. Monday, Seaside police reported an unknown person stole $250 worth of CDs from a vehicle parked at 561 S. Promenade after breaking the rear passenger window.

Forged check• At 3:16 p.m. Friday, Warrenton police arrested Cassandra Marie Darnell, 33, of Astoria for trying to pass a bad check at the Warrenton Subway restaurant.

Disturbances• At 7:43 p.m. Friday, Astoria police responded to a report of a gunshot outside an apartment building in the 400 block of West Marine Drive, where a man was standing near the building with a gun. Police arrested Charles Gann, 26, of Warrenton on a parole violation and took him to Clatsop County Jail.

Traffic accidents• At 9:07 p.m. Saturday, Stephanie Shultz, 21, of Salem, lost control of her SUV on U.S. Highway 26 at milepost 14.5 and her vehicle rolled onto its side, blocking both westbound lanes of traffic, Oregon State Police reported. Shultz was not injured. It was the first of three accidents apparently related to icy conditions on that stretch of highway in a 24-hour period over the weekend.

• At 11:30 a.m. Sunday, a car spun into the front of a car driven by Eileen C. Mugglewortz, 54, of Eugene, after its driver lost control on the ice on U.S. Highway 26 at milepost 24.2, Oregon State Police reported. Mugglewortz's car was then struck from behind by another car. Mugglewortz and two passengers, Andrew J. Mugglewortz and Brittnay Ann Cleland, both 23, and from Eugene, were injured. No information was available about the occupants of the other two cars involved.

• At 11:40 a.m. Sunday, three people were injured in a one-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 26 at milepost 25. An SUV driven by Britnee J. Pokorny, 18, of Portland rolled over after the driver lost control on ice. She and passengers Jessica Knutson and Katie Camberg, both of Seaside, were taken to Providence Seaside Hospital for treatment, OSP reported.
